New Frederick Businesses

🏨New Hotel in Frederick: First hotel opening in Frederick in 50 years, The Visitation Hotel will be an upscale boutique hotel located in the 200 year old former Sisters of Charity monastery followed by The Visitation Academy.
🍽️New Restaurant: Wye Oak Tavern, a tavern & steakhouse, located inside The Visitation Hotel, will be run by Celebrity Chef Bryan Voltaggio - “A distinctive locavore restaurant where the ever-evolving menu is inspired by the season, landscape and bounty of the region.”
🥐New Eatery: Acorn Provisions Cafe, a grab-and-go cafe & espresso bar also located inside The Visitation Hotel.
Playa Bowls, known for acai, pitaya, coconut bowls & smoothies with sustainability and community in mind will soon be opening on Worman’s Mill Rd.
