And there’s a little personal note from me in here too 💛

Home Improvement Sponsor: A&S Construction - A Spring Refresh That Actually Feels Good
Something about spring always makes me want to freshen things up at home. Not a full overhaul, but a few updates that make everything feel a little newer again.
Maybe it’s new windows that let in more light, a front door that finally feels right, or even a deck or patio that makes you want to spend more time outside. Little changes that make a big difference.
If your home hasn’t quite caught up to the season yet, this might be the perfect time to change that.

🥂 Best Brunch in Frederick (32 Spots to Try)
Brunch season is fully back, and I just gave this post a major update with even more spots to check out.
I rounded up the best brunch places around Frederick, depending on what you’re in the mood for. Downtown mimosas, a casual café, something a little nicer for guests, or a place that works for a group. It’s all in there.
Definitely one to save for the next “where should we go?” morning.
🌿 Community Wellness Sponsor: YMCA of Frederick County
Okay, summer is coming up fast, and I feel like everyone’s starting to figure out camp plans right about now.
I’ve always heard how amazing the YMCA of Frederick County Day Camps are, and it makes sense. Kids are outside, staying active, trying new things, and actually having fun (which is kind of the goal 😄). It feels like one of those easy, reliable options that just works.
Click on my video reel to get a really good 30 second peek into what their days look like, along with young campers’ take on why they love the YMCA:

❤️ A Quick Personal Ask
We’re in the middle of planning The Robby Invitational, which we host each year (this is our 10th year!) in memory of my dad. It’s something that means a lot to our family.
This year’s donations will go to Frederick County Hospice and Virginia Cancer Specialists. Both do incredible work for families (including mine) going through really tough times.
If you’ve been looking for a simple way to give back locally, this is a great one.

Even $10 makes a difference 🤍

📰 Local Buzz
🐝 Here’s what people around Frederick and beyond have been talking about this week.
Not Great News for Wine Season – That recent frost? It hit Maryland vineyards pretty hard. Some are calling it one of the worst losses in years, so this year’s wine supply might look a little different.
Parks Getting Some Love – There’s a new push to improve parks across Maryland, which feels like perfect timing now that everyone wants to be outside again.
That Store Everyone Forgets About – There’s a discount shop getting a lot of buzz lately… the kind where you go in for one thing and somehow leave with five.
Big Win on TV 👀 – One of Frederick’s own chefs just won on Food Network, and people are definitely noticing. Always fun to see local talent getting that kind of spotlight.
Frederick Mom of 7 Making Moves – A local mom of seven just launched a business, and it’s getting a lot of attention.
New Cheesesteak Spot – Charleys Cheesesteaks is opening its first Frederick location this week, so that’s another quick, casual option hitting the area.

💛 Quick Question for You
Last week’s answers were kind of funny… a tie between “I have real plans” and “I might go out if I feel like it” 😄
So basically… we want to go out, but we’re also keeping our options open.
Let’s switch it up this week:
