As winter fades and spring rain starts rolling in, now’s a great time to take a look at your roof and gutters.

Small things like loose gutters, winter wear, or minor roof damage can turn into bigger problems once those heavy spring storms arrive. Getting ahead of it now can save you a lot of stress later.

If checking your roof and gutters has been sitting on your spring to-do list, this is a good time to tackle it.

🐰 Easter Bunny Cake (A Sweet Tradition Worth Bringing Back)

This Easter Bunny Cake instantly brings back memories for me. It’s one of those classic Easter desserts that makes the whole table feel a little more festive.

Not only does it look adorable, but it’s actually much easier to make than you’d think. With just a few simple steps, you end up with a cute bunny cake that doubles as your Easter centerpiece.

The decorating part is my favorite, with fluffy coconut “bunny fur,” candy details, and a little creativity. I have to say, my Momma was the best at making this cake!

If you’re looking for a fun Easter baking project or a dessert that gets everyone smiling, this one is definitely worth a look.

🏡 Real Estate Sponsor: MaryLou’s Tip of the Month

The real estate market in Frederick is entering a season of transition.

After several years of intense competition, rapid appreciation, and lightning-fast contracts, conditions are beginning to rebalance.

Inventory has gradually increased, homes are spending more time on the market, and buyers are approaching decisions with greater care.

While pricing remains strong compared to historical norms, the urgency that once defined every listing has softened, creating a more thoughtful and strategic environment for both buyers and sellers.

As your local realtor, I see this shift not as a slowdown, but as an opportunity.

A balanced market allows for stronger negotiations, proper due diligence, and smarter pricing strategies.

Sellers must position their homes intentionally with professional marketing and accurate pricing, while buyers can move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

My role is to interpret these evolving trends, provide honest guidance, and ensure my clients are empowered at every stage of the process.

In a changing market, experience, local insight, and strong advocacy matter more than ever — and I am committed to delivering exactly that.

Curious about what your home is worth? Curious about what provides the best ROI for this market?

I’m here to help!
