🏛️ How a Historic Frederick Venue Made Accessibility Work

This week’s blog is one I’m really excited about.

I’m sharing the story behind an accessibility upgrade at Citizens Ballroom, one of Downtown Frederick’s most beautiful historic venues.

The building dates back to 1908 and has this incredible marble staircase that makes you stop and stare… and also makes accessibility a real challenge.

I walk through how Next Day Access Central Maryland added a stairlift without compromising the charm or history of the space, which honestly isn’t easy to pull off.
