🦀 Crab Deviled Eggs (For us Marylanders)
Deviled eggs are already a classic… but adding crab + a little Old Bay just makes them authentically Maryland.
This recipe is one of those simple upgrades that makes people stop and go, “Mmmm! Mmm Hmm!” in the best way. It’s still creamy, tangy, and familiar, just with that extra delicious lump crab meat and Old Bay Seasoning that makes it feel extra special.
I love this recipe for spring gatherings, Easter, or any occasion where you need an easy appetizer that disappears fast.
If you want to switch things up from the usual deviled eggs, this one’s definitely worth trying.
Just make sure to put a little sign in front of your display saying they have crab meat in them, just in case anyone is allergic.

Still figuring out what summer might look like for the kids or grandkids? This is a good place to start.
YMCA of Frederick County Day Camps are more than just something to fill the day. Kids get to try new things, stay active, and make real friendships, whether it’s through hands-on projects, outdoor games, or creative activities.
Every day looks a little different, and that mix of fun + structure + supportive staff is why so many families come back each year.

🏡 Real Estate Sponsor: MaryLou’s Tip of the Month
Decor in 2026 is all about moving away from the cold, overly minimal spaces of the past and toward homes that feel warm, personal, and deeply lived-in.
Instead of stark whites and “perfect” showroom interiors, designers are embracing rich, earthy color palettes—think chocolate browns, terracotta, olive greens, and jewel tones like sapphire and emerald.
These colors create a grounded, cozy atmosphere and are often layered with natural materials like wood, stone, and clay to add depth and authenticity.
Another major shift is toward character and individuality over perfection.
Homes are becoming more eclectic and curated, mixing vintage pieces, antiques, and meaningful décor rather than matching sets.
Pattern-on-pattern, textured walls, and statement pieces like burlwood furniture or Murano-style lighting are trending because they make a space feel collected over time rather than decorated all at once.
At the same time, there’s a growing appreciation for craftsmanship and sustainability—people are investing in fewer, higher-quality items that tell a story instead of fast, mass-produced décor.
So say goodnight to the gray walls, gray floors and all white kitchens of the last decade.
